Resort Pet Policy
Wilderness Point Resort allows families to vacation with their pets (dogs only) in our Cabins and a few select Villas. We know that pets are important members of the family, and that vacations can be more fun if your pets are with you. For that reason, we do allow dogs to stay in our cabins and there are some Villa owners who allow dogs to stay in their Villas. However, we ask you to carefully review the following pet policy and follow the rules so that we can continue to remain pet friendly.
Please note that if you stay in Villa 23 or Villa 30 there is a 30 lb weight limit for your dog. Dogs over 30 lbs cannot stay in Villa 23 or Villa 30. Additionally, no dogs under 2 years of age are allowed in Villa 30.
- A non-refundable pet fee of $50 per pet, per night for Villas, and $30 per pet per night for cabins, plus tax, will be added to all pet stays.
- Pets must be registered at check-in. There is a $100 per night fee if a pet is not registered.
- Pet owners agree to not leave their pet outside unattended or secured via leash without the owner present, at any time during their stay at the resort.
- Pets are not allowed on the swim beach or in the Clubhouse building.
- Pets are allowed to swim and be in the water only near dock #2 (Shady Beach).
- Pets must always be on a leash when outdoors.
- Pets must be secured in a kennel or crate if they are left in your Cabin or Villa unattended.
- Pet owners must show proof of current Rabies vaccinations.
- Pet owner will be fully responsible for any injuries caused by their pets to any resort employee, other resort guest, villa owner, or any other person on resort property.
- Pet owners must pick up after their pets after they go to bathroom, or an additional $150 cleaning fee will be added to your account.
- Violation of any of the above rules may also result in an additional incremental charge of up to $500, potential pet eviction, and/or a charge for any damage or required additional cleaning of the accommodation.
